Fun in the Sun, Mud & Shade
Georgia Folk
On Monday we met with Bland Farms(they market our sweet onions) they flew from GA. to inspect our onions and have lunch...what a good report we recieved! They were impressed and we are thrilled to get to grow 200 acres for them next year. We followed them to Boise had dinner stayed over night and had breakfast then Jared was able to follow them up to look at some other onions with them in the Treasure Valley. Here are a few pictures.

Little Water Bugs...
Now that it is finally warm we are able to go outside and enjoy not only the sun but the pool! MaKaylee loves the water!! It's almost like a therapy for her she reaches for my hands and we walk and walk and walk some more she espeacially likes it when Dustin or her Dad are in there because she also likes to do hurtles over there legs. Dustin also had his cousin Adam over and they put the pinic table in and had lunch it was so fun for them they thought it was pretty neat!!

Culivating Onions
The onions are now the size of a quarter and seem to be handling the heat well and are taking lots more water. We culivated them for the last time about a week ago a good thing to have done. We also finally purchased a loader which is another great thing on our check list to have checked. Here are a few pictures.

Dustin turns 5
Dustin turned 5 on Friday and I can't believe how fast 5 yrs has gone.We celebrated his birthday with family and friends. We cooked dutch oven chicken and potatoes with a John Deere cake and a JD pinata. Dustin has learned so much!! He can write his name and likes to work outside. He has helped us plant a garden and is always a great big help with his sister. He likes to play in water and mud and wants to be a cop when he grows up. We love you so much Dustin...Happy Birthday!!
