Painting the cement plant

Last Tuesday we was able to go to Brigham and Paint the cement building for Oakley's arrival. There was a white spot that had been vacant for two weeks prior to our suprise there was a date on it that looked like it was saved... so we were out of luck we had only one color as we packed up our supplies there was a full can of yellow spray paint on the ground so we made it work it may have looked like Ketchup and Mustard but at least we got er' up there!! Sorry Oakley we tried!!

MaKaylee's 1st year

MaKaylee turned 1 on the 29th of March. We are so glad she is apart of our family. She is our little slice of heaven. She was born with DS and a complete AV Canal Defect. Her first four months of her life where spent without her heart repair. While us (parents) were preparing for and planning on her surgery since day 2 of her life made for some restless and worrisome days. Our worries soon faded away on August 5, 2009 at Primary Childrens Medical center Dr. P. Burch performed surgery on our petite baby girl. Surgery was a sucess and we are ever so greatful for the staff at P.C.M.C with out them MaKaylee would not be here. Since then she has grown so much. Se loves to watch her brother Dustin run and play, she loves to laugh and most of all smile. As for us what a awesome experience to be apart in raising one of God's chosen children.
