Onions+Sprinklers= Trouble for a 4yr. old

If you look close you can see the onions

This past year our family has taken on a new adventure we have been working on 40 acres of Sweet Onions. They have been planted for a few months and now we are onto Dustin's favorite part the watering.. you can see the dying look on his face everytime we go there just to run through the water. Most generally he ends up in the buff just so he can ride home in the truck. Here are a few pictures of the past few weeks.

Everything goes in the mouth....

Yesterday as I was busy cleaning I found MaKaylee going through the garbage. She had found her self a leftover container of sourcream by the way she looked and by the way she was moving her tounge you would have thought she was in heaven.I then looked down at her and said MaKaylee what are you doing?? She looked up at me with a big sourcream smile. This wasn't the end to her taste testing adventure.... that afternoon as I was shutting the sprinklers off the hay field I sat her down in the dirt I seen she had a clod in hand and didn't think if she put that in her mouth that she would keep doing it ,but by time I was done she had mud soup in her mouth and was crying. Just as I thought this adventure would come to an end she got into her Dad's soap that is to remove grease of your hands...this time she was a bit smarter about it the soap was cherry scented. Luckliy I got to her before it went into the mouth. I being the dumb person I am didn't get any pictures. The way she is going I could probably get one today hopefully its healthy!!

The Gateway and Discovery Center

We made a trip to S.L.C to pick-up Oakley...before we went to the airport we made a stop at one of our favorite hamburger stands Hires. Then we ventured the the Gateway where we enjoyed the water show. The whole time we were there Dustin had to ride in MaKaylees stroller (it always ends up that way). So Jared thought we could get him out of it by giving the stroller a good push and running off....well we definitely got him out of him in a quick hurry!!

We ended up having sometime left so we went to the Discovery center!! Dustin liked helicopter best. At the garden of course we had to pose for a picture with some onions!! MaKaylee was shofered around by Aunt Nicole. All in all we had a great day of shopping and playing!!
