Grandma's Special Day!

On the 11 of September we were able to join Grandma Gloria in taking her endowments out. It was a beautiful and peaceful day for all in attendance. We also had the oppurtunity to visit with family that we don't get to see very often. Grandpa and Grandma treated us all to a nice dinner afterwards. We love you Grandma!!

Onions, Onions, Onions......

This summer has been full of you know what!! We have been at a steady pace since the end of August. We are now just about half way done. The onions have to be sorted through and either boxed or bagged then stacked on pallets and shipped. The work is done with the help of 16 hispanic workers. We are hoping to be done in about 2 weeks. It has been fun but we are looking forward to it be done.

Georgia Folk

On Monday we met with Bland Farms(they market our sweet onions) they flew from GA. to inspect our onions and have lunch...what a good report we recieved! They were impressed and we are thrilled to get to grow 200 acres for them next year. We followed them to Boise had dinner stayed over night and had breakfast then Jared was able to follow them up to look at some other onions with them in the Treasure Valley. Here are a few pictures.
